Westernaires is a precision mounted drill riding group, this blog was used to record my time at Westernaires. I leased a 21 year old quarter horse draft mix named Bo. Prior I rented and rode Stretch, Chey, and GoldDust. My teams were T1, J1 (Top Junior),White Star (Captain), Colorado Stampede (Captain), Nighthorse Rangers, Royal Rangers, Red Liberty, Red Ropes, White Vaulting, White Batons, Jr. Instructor, and Jr. Wrangler. I now ride on the Evergreen Drill Team since I graduated in 2017

Interclub 2015
Interclub went amazing this year. The JGE performances and Nighthorse were awesome as usual. Both had some show jitters but recovered well. It was kind of fun watching and trying to pick out the winners. My friend won 1st in her class and second overall. I was so proud. WesternaireForever placed 3rd in her class. 3 of the top 5 were renters including the EE Wyland winner. Overall a successful day.

Our drill was....interesting to say the least. We took out the gate, that's a first! But we pulled through and made it work. Lol
ReplyDeleteYeah that was scary but you guys still kept it together and your drill looked pretty good!!!!!
DeleteIt felt horrible in the arena but from the stands it looked a lot better. We moved a lot faster than in practice so that's part of it.
DeleteThe pace always picks up at shows lol. You guys looked very good from my viewpoint. Still have a lot of work to do but it was still a good show.
DeleteWe had much better practices but overall not a bad performance.
DeleteI would agree
DeleteI was number 129 in class 6 and I had Shorty
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Did you have fun??
