Tenderfoot Grooming Night Fail

So tonight I went out to teach the new kids how to groom and saddle! I was so excited because this was why I became a wrangler. Well they made us line up adults, red division, AAA, AA. So only 3 people did not get a kid to teach and one of them was me :( I was so bummed. I was next in line when they ran out. So we got on Clorox duty. Yippee. It was super boring. The only fun part was chasing a AAA boy around with Clorox because he was insulting our team (in a nice teasing way) it was awful watching everyone else getting to teach. I did get to help a girl take Utah girl home because she had to stay so we could take care of her wound. Then we had confusion on where she went so it took a while. That was basically my night. Then my best friend on tenderfoot got top tenderfoot!!!! I am so proud of her! I guess I'm a good mentor hahah. Way to go!!!!! I'm back all day tomorrow to help. All my classes are cancelled so it will hopefully be a better day than tonight. Still super bummed.

  1. Did they already give out horses? Maybe you could've done an extra groom instead, that would be more fun than racing for people to clorox. Maybe next the 5 weeks.

    1. Well if I'm there as a wrangler I'm supposed to help. Typically no one practices until the first set of tenderfeet are done grooming. I have to miss next week cause of my graduation.
