Westernaires is a precision mounted drill riding group, this blog was used to record my time at Westernaires. I leased a 21 year old quarter horse draft mix named Bo. Prior I rented and rode Stretch, Chey, and GoldDust. My teams were T1, J1 (Top Junior),White Star (Captain), Colorado Stampede (Captain), Nighthorse Rangers, Royal Rangers, Red Liberty, Red Ropes, White Vaulting, White Batons, Jr. Instructor, and Jr. Wrangler. I now ride on the Evergreen Drill Team since I graduated in 2017

Excited for Blue Ropes!!!!
I am really excited for ropes this weekend! It's in the afternoon again though :( But it could be my last practice on Blue Ropes because specialty move ups are next month, and this is our last February practice. Ahh!!! I want to move up to White so bad! I can do 100 toe dances and I have been on the larger ropes since my 3rd practice. I think I have a really good chance! I practice almost daily. I can not believe that my first White Division show is in 4 or so months and my last Interclub competition too! I can't wait to be the Junior Interclub rider so I can help guide the Tenderfeet through their first show :) I love helping people. Write in a few days!

YEAH, you can maybe help me!!!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteInterclub is so much fun! Bring TONS of water and sunscreen and don't worry about placing. It is just a chance to show off what you can do. Did you join Westernaires to win? Or have the joy of preforming for people, riding horses, making memories, and having fun. I am sad it's my last year for Interclub but I will be in many shows this summer. Tenderfeet usually watch specialties in June and base teams in August :)
ReplyDeletewhen do you start interclub?
ReplyDeleteInterclub is an equitation competition typically the first Sunday in June for first and second year riders. You should start practicing in the spring and you'll have a meeting about it
